ALONG THE WAY

Painted with natural oil pigments on old wood. This piece is painted on pieces of the 1947 stair treads that came out of artist, Meghan Aileen’s house. The dark aged wood backdrop creates a warmth that can’t be replicated. Allowing some of the wood to show through in the thin layers of the sky lets the wood speak. Thicker layers in the foliage give dimension, texture and interest. Inspired by the Summer landscape in Leiper’s Fork, TN.     

Measuring 10x12” comes ready to hang with wire on the back.

Can be displayed on a wall or on a shelf or mantle. Group pieces together for a more impactful presence.
